One rainy autumn evening, five lifelong friends meet in one of the oldest clubs in the city. They have all travelled extensively to the four corners of the world to meet on this precise day... It is October 2, 1900. Exactly twenty-eight years earlier, the eccentric Londoner Phileas Fogg bet the sum of 20,000 pounds sterling that he would complete the circumnavigation of the world in 80 days. Bet won.
Every year, they meet to celebrate this anniversary and salute Fogg's feat. Today, at the dawn of a new century, they decide to take on the challenge of an impossible journey. The stake: $1 million! The goal: Cross as many cities as possible in the United States of America by rail, in just 7 days! Let the adventure begin...
